Modification History

  • 2025.04.01: * Release of digitized historic maps from the 2024 IRC project.
    • Finalized the digitization (polygonization) of 38 sheets from the 1938 map and 58 sheets from the 1900s map (scale 1:1000).
    • Ongoing project: Implementation of annotation tasks for the automatic detection of architectural elements as a new database feature.
  • 2024.03.15: Vector data of the 1938 Cairo city map was created and published.
  • 2023.04.01: The Arai Collection (1994) and a new set of metadata were added to the database.
  • 2021.04.01: Initial release of the website, including the Fukami Collection (2010s).
